Islamabad to host three back-to-back Int’l Squash Tournaments in coming April
The three back-to-back International Squash Tournaments will commence at Mushaf Squash Complex in Islamabad from tomorrow.

According to detail, International Squash Tournament for Women will be played from first to fifth of the next month, while Huawei International for Men will be staged from 6th to 10th of the next month.

A total of seventeen men players from Egypt, Iran, Hong Kong, Scotland, Kuwait, Spain, Czeh Republic and Ireland will participate in the event.

Seven women players from Egypt, South Korea, Iran and Switzerland will also participate in the Women event.

The event is providing ample of opportunities to Pakistani players for the revival of International squash in the country.

Death toll in Indonesia quake-tsunami tops 800

The death toll from a powerful earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia leapt to 832 Sunday, as stunned people on the stricken island of Sulawesi struggled to find food and water and looting spread. Sahiwal killings: CM Buzdar rejects opposition’s demand to form judicial commission

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Thursday rejected the opposition's demand to form a judicial commission over the tragic Sahiwal extrajudicial killings. Speaking to the press after a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Punjab chief minister said that there is no immediate need for a judicial commission over the incident – a demand recently put forwarded by Punjab Opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz. "The probe is going with full transparency. We will see if there are issues in future. We have already taken action against five personnel," he said. The chief minister said that disciplinary action is being taken against two suspended officials. "Action is being taken against every person responsible for the incident. I will take a briefing on the issue in two-day time," he said. The chief minister announced to give a sum of Rs20 million to the family of the deceased.
